2025-26 Scholarship Opportunities
FSU Service Scholars Program The Service Scholar program is a four-year, comprehensive, co-curricular program. Service Scholars will complete a minimum of 75 service hours per semester (45 hours for first-semester first-year students) while maintaining a 2.75 GPA, participate in individual and group service projects, attend monthly program meetings, receive and provide peer mentorship, engage in coursework tailored to each year in the program, and promote community participation among their peers. The program includes an annual $4,500 scholarship, which is automatically renewed each year, provided requirements are met. Applications, including information for recommenders, are due Monday, February 23 at 6 a.m. EST. The deadline for recommendations is Wednesday, March 4 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
The University of West Florida awards select Pell-eligible students each year with the Argo Spirit Scholarship. This full-ride award honors strength of character, or "Argo Spirit," and includes:
- Full tuition and mandatory fees.
- On-campus housing.
- A meal plan.
- An $800 per-semester book stipend.
Students who have overcome obstacles, fought for something important, or made an impact while in high school, are encouraged to apply. Their impact can be in the form of leadership, family contribution, or community engagement. High school GPA and standardized test scores are not taken into consideration.
To be considered, students must:
- Be a first-time-in-college student starting classes Summer or Fall 2026 at UWF.
- Be offered admission to UWF by March 1, 2026.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2026.
- Be Pell Grant-eligible as determined by the FAFSA.
- Complete the Argo Spirit Scholarship application by March 1, 2026.
Scholarship application includes:
- A personal essay | Prompt: Argo Spirit involves overcoming obstacles, fighting for something important, or making an impact while in high school. How have you shown Argo Spirit?
- Letter of recommendation. Letter must be written by a non-family member and add testament to the way(s) in which the student has demonstrated Argo Spirit.
- A personal video essay | Prompt: How will you continue to show your Argo Spirit at UWF? Detail how winning this scholarship would impact your life. Video should be titled "UWF Argo Spirit Scholarship 2026" and submitted via YouTube link.
This unique opportunity is focused specifically on character and not academics. We can't wait to hear how students have been making a difference, and we're excited to see the change they'll make at UWF!
The Horatio Alger Association is seeking students who display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Students must have financial need and a determination to turn adversity into opportunity and pursue their American Dream. West Florida Electric Cooperative is proud to invest in the future of our communities. Each year, WFEC awards thirteen $1,000 scholarships—one to a graduating senior from each high school in our four-county service area, plus one for a home-schooled student. Farm Credit of Northwest Florida 2026 AgVocator Scholarship Program : This year, one exceptional student will be awarded a scholarship of up to $20,000 to support their academic journey. Eligible applicants include high school seniors, college freshmen, and sophomores who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong dedication to serving rural communities. In addition to the top award, two additional finalists will each receive a $2,000 scholarship. The application period is now open and will close on January 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Eligible applicants must be a resident of one of the following Northwest Florida Counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Taylor, Walton, Wakulla, and Washington.
FINE ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS CHIPOLA COLLEGE: Chipola College offers scholarships to talented students in music, show choir, theatre, and the visual arts. Interested students should complete the Fine Arts Scholarship Interest Form to apply for the scholarship they would like to pursue.
The Hagan Scholarships: The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. Scholarship information and application are available online at https://haganscholarships.org/.
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH GEORGIA Army ROTC scholarship: Seniors are highly encourage to start the application immediately so that there is maximum time to help them make their applications as competitive as possible. There will be three national boards – October 25, January 26, and March 26 for students to start college in Fall of 2026. The University of North Georgia is looking for high school seniors who want to serve as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. The Army ROTC Scholarship pays for room and board (up to $12,000 per year) or 100% of tuition and fees + $420/month stipend + $1,200/yr book allowance.
